Welsh Health Trusts encouraged to use off-contract claims guidance from 1 February 2014

<p> The All-Wales Drug Contracting Committee is encouraging Welsh Health Trusts to use an updated off-contract claims guidance from 1 February 2014 for where a potential shortage incident occurs on a 'contracted' generic medicine being supplied to a hospital. Medicines UK has encouraged its members and the wider generics suppliers to Welsh Trusts to adopt this guidance since we believe that it could save both trusts and suppliers time and money.
