Medicines UK represents 45 pharmaceutical companies that specialise in manufacturing and supplying the NHS with off-patent generic and biosimilar medicines. These companies provide the vast majority of treatments patients rely on for their health and well-being. Via competition, they ensure the UK benefits from the lowest medicine prices in Europe.
Our member companies range from global organisations employing thousands of people through to smaller UK-focused entities and those specialising in specific parts of the market.
All members are treated equally and have the same access to information and support. This diversity allows us to truly understand and represent the full breadth of the supply market in the UK.
