Medicines UK holds an annual conference that brings together industry, government, the NHS, regulators and other leading influencers to examine the key issues within our sector.
Medicines UK 2026 conference
Our second annual conference took place in July and featured then medicines minister Preet Kaur Gill MP as our keynote speaker.
We were delighted to also hear from Lawrence Tallon, chief executive of the MHRA as well as Professor Jonathan Benger, CEO of NICE.
The event was hosted and moderated by former Times business editor and Sky TV presenter Ian King.

Medicines UK 2025 conference
The 2025 Medicines UK conference, held at the Royal Society of Medicine, was a great success. The event featured a day of discussion and debate hosted and moderated by former Sky News and Times business editor Ian King.
The keynote address was delivered by then medicines minster Karin Smyth. The sold-out event featured prominent figures from our industry, government, regulators, the NHS and the media.
